about
Hello! I am Lane Fenton, a lighting and themed entertainment designer studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, I grew fascinated with themed, live entertainment as my family frequented concerts, theme parks, and miscellaneous immersive experiences. When I moved to Florida in my youth, my adoration for live entertainment transitioned into the desire to work in theatre. In middle school, I began what would become a 7-year-long acting career, eventually going to and graduating from a performing arts high school. By college, I knew that I wanted to bring the same joy of live entertainment I felt as a kid, now from a technical standpoint. I realized my passions were offstage, focusing on hospitality and operations in theme parks, stadiums, and stages.
I now attend the Savannah College of Art and Design with a concentration in lighting design and a minor in themed entertainment design. My current conceptual work includes lighting design, graphic design, digital art, model rendering, and physical pieces. I am interested in creating representative and immersive designs that honor my background and incorporate activism into artistry.
